- PTFE Brown typically refers to bronze-filled PTFE, a high-performance composite material designed to overcome the mechanical limitations of pure PTFE. The addition of bronze filler enhances wear resistance, compressive strength, and thermal conductivity, making it ideal for demanding mechanical applications. While it retains excellent chemical resistance, it may show slight vulnerability to strong acids.
