EPDM Black- Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Rubber
- EPDM Black (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Rubber) is a durable, high-performance synthetic rubber commonly filled with carbon black to enhance UV resistance and mechanical properties. It is especially known for its outstanding resistance to weathering, ozone, steam, and polar substances like water and mild acids or alkalis. EPDM remains flexible at low temperatures (down to -40°C) and performs well under heat up to 130°C. However, it is not suitable for use with oils or fuels. EPDM Black is widely used in automotive sealing systems, weatherstrips, roofing membranes, hoses, and gaskets,particularly in outdoor and moist environments.
