NBR Black- Nitrile Butadiene Rubber
- NBR Black (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) is a synthetic rubber compound known for its excellent resistance to oils, fuels, and many chemicals. The addition of carbon black as a reinforcing filler enhances its mechanical strength, wear resistance, and durability. NBR Black offers good flexibility and performance over a wide temperature range, typically from -40°C to +120°C. While it performs exceptionally well in environments with petroleum-based fluids, it has limited resistance to ozone, sunlight, and certain polar solvents unless specially formulated. Common applications include fuel hoses, seals, gaskets, O-rings, and industrial gloves.
